Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was stunning right on the canal, offering a fascinating ecosystem, but it was excessively overgrown. The staff were helpful in guiding us for manatee interactions, yet they knocked on our door early. The dining experience didn't meet our dietary needs, and the absence of a Continental breakfast was disappointing.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully done up, matching a wedding's elegance, but there were some noise disturbances outside. The service was handled very well despite some minor issues. The location was peaceful but in need of updates, yet it offered easy access to outdoor activities. The dining options were somewhat limited but satisfactory. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had new flooring and fresh paint but being near the boat ramp led to parking difficulties at times due to non-hotel guests using the lot. The service was very attentive, especially with housekeeping and the great dinner at Teyha. The location was the standout positive, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores, and an excellent manatee tour offered by the in-house Plantation Dive Shop. However, the dining, while convenient, was a bit costly with limited options, and the hotel itself had a vintage feel from the 50s, creating a mixed vibe.
